JayX - A DAO-managed exchange

About the Project

JayX is a fully decentralized trading platform with the motto "Trade on Your Terms — Fast, Secure, and Private." Built on MPC (Multi-Party Computation) technology, it offers fully decentralized custody of user funds, ensuring users maintain complete control of their assets without intermediaries.

The platform serves as a settlement layer for a free financial market, integrating asset issuance, spot trading, perpetual futures trading, and asset storage into a unified experience. It supports omni-chain asset management with cross-chain interoperability and permissionless token listing, all governed by DAO token holders.

My Role

As Frontend Lead, I was responsible for the entire frontend architecture and implementation of the trading platform. This included building the homepage with complex scroll-driven animations (GSAP + Motion), the real-time trading interfaces (spot and perpetual), the copy trading system, the Genesis participation flow, the blockchain explorer, and the account management dashboard.

Key technical challenges included integrating TradingView charts for professional-grade charting, managing real-time WebSocket data streams for live price updates and order book rendering, implementing Web3 wallet authentication (supporting both EVM chains via Wagmi and TON blockchain), and building a responsive layout that works across desktop and mobile.

Homepage & Brand

The homepage features a dark, futuristic aesthetic with 3D-rendered visuals and scroll-driven parallax animations. The hero section showcases live market tickers, while subsequent sections highlight core platform values: "Your Keys, Your Coins" (decentralized custody), "Own Your Data" (privacy-first), and "Powerful Trading Engine" (performance). The page culminates with the DAO governance vision.

Spot & Perpetual Trading

The trading interface is the core of the platform, featuring TradingView-powered candlestick charts with multiple timeframes, a real-time order book with buy/sell depth visualization, and a trade execution panel supporting limit, market, and conditional orders. The perpetual trading mode adds leverage controls (up to 125x), funding rate tracking, position management with TP/SL, and margin level monitoring.

Copy Trading

The copy trading system allows users to follow and automatically replicate trades from elite traders. It features a leaderboard ranking traders by performance metrics (ROI, win rate, copier count), detailed trader profiles with trading history, and a "Become a Lead Trader" application flow. KOL traders receive additional benefits including competitive profit sharing, global influence, and platform resource support.

Genesis & Community

The Genesis page implements a multi-phase community building mechanism (Egg Phase → Hatchling → Nestling), featuring wallet connection, invite code verification, real-time ETH contribution tracking, and a community participation wall showing 600+ members. This was built with engaging animations and a cosmic visual theme.

Account Management

The account dashboard includes portfolio asset overview with allocation charts, comprehensive order history with filtering and pagination, transfer tracking (deposits/withdrawals), and API key management for programmatic trading access.
